What We Collect

We may collect: contact form submissions (name, email, message); secure tip submissions (message content only — no IP address logged); newsletter sign-ups; and standard server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) retained for a maximum of 30 days.

Journalistic Exemption

Personal data processed for the purposes of investigative journalism is handled under the journalistic exemption provided by Section 26 of the Data Protection Act 2018 and Article 85 of UK GDPR. Source-identifying information is held separately, accessible only to the Editor-in-Chief, and is never shared with third parties.
